Notice: Effective January 1st, 2025
Dupont Circle Pharmacy can NO LONGER dispense certain products / Medications to clients with insurance or PBM's that:
• reimburses the pharmacy for products / Medications at less than the actual cost of the product / Medication (acquisition cost).
• does NOT pay the pharmacy for labor or Dispensing Fee.
Why is this happening now?
The pharmacy incurred a significant loss of revenue to sustain medication acquisitions and provision of service over the calendar year 2024 in hopes these large Insurance Companies would re-consider not covering the full cost of their customer medications.
We are unable to sustain buying products / medications at a cost higher than we are reimbursed.
How will I know if my medication is not being fully reimbursed by my insurance?
What do I do if my insurance / Medication is no longer available?
Can I pay the difference between the cost and what the insurance reimburses?
